Pinecrest is small mountain lake located in the sierra foothills in the Stanislaus national forest and offers a number of activities for the outdoor enthusiast. The Pinecrest campground has 200 campsites with facilities that include a paved parking pad, picnic table and fire ring. Campground bathrooms have flush toilets, sinks and a utility sink. There is a dump station available and water supply. The campground has water faucets with potable water. Wi-Fi internet service is available, during posted hours, within 100′ of the kiosk. There are no RV hookups areas available Camping at Pinecrest Lake is popular for fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, bicycling, outdoor movies, star gazing, ranger campfire programs, taking a hike to Cleo’s bath, a large stone swimming hole above the lake,  hiking to catfish lake, taking a day trip to Clarks Fork or Kennedy meadows are also both great places to visit. Pincers has a lot to offer and you can easily enjoy the lake and the area if your staying for a number of days.
